Mythics lands $293M Oracle enterprise software contract with Air Force
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA March 9, 2017 Mythics, Inc., an award winning consulting firm, managed services provider and Platinum level member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), announced it has been awarded a $293,247,466 five-year enterprise software license agreement (ESLA) with the United States Air Force to provide Oracle products and services. The ESLA is designed to reduce costs by streamlining the procurement of Oracle technologies and will enable the Air Force to realize the full potential of Oracle technologies through effective tracking, deployment and use.
The Air Force Oracle ESLA provides an unlimited license agreement for a core set of Oracle technology products including Oracle Cloud as well as a catalog with established discounts for Oracle core technology products during the term of the contract. The ESLA also consolidates the vast majority of the Air Force's core technology maintenance stream. Additionally, the ESLA will allow improvements in Oracle license management, provide access to the MilCloud and other cloud service providers, allow use of Air Force Oracle software in the joint environment, and replace multiple Oracle products approaching end-of-life.
Under the terms of the ESLA, the Air Force will use Mythics License Orchestrator (MLO) as a centralized enterprise portal to effectively manage the Air Force's portfolio of Oracle products. Developed and launched by Mythics in 2010, MLO 3.1 is an IT asset management and reporting tool that enables Mythics' customers to efficiently manage enterprise wide agreements.
Highlighted features of the Air Force Mythics License Orchestrator (Air Force MLO) include:
Facilitating ordering by Air Force Users via online forms accessible by desktop and mobile devices.
Standard but customizable validation and approvals via a robust workflow management process and system.
Powerful reports and dashboards on utilization, install base and cost avoidance.
Centralized repository for all contacts, documentation, and deliverables associated with the contract.
