Nuance brings transcription technology in partnership with Veritone

Veritone, a leading provider of cloud-based cognitive computing solutions, has partnered with Nuance, a leading provider of voice and language solutions. Veritone is incorporating the Nuance Transcription Engine (NTE) within Veritone's cloud-based, hosted Cognitive Media Platform (CMP). Nuance joins Veritone's growing set of partners that includes providers of cognitive engines such as sentiment extraction, tonal analysis, facial and object recognition and more. The addition of NTE will enhance the efficiency and overall capabilities of Veritone's cognitive platform by adding highly accurate transcription.
Partnership broadens technology reach: Nuance's proven transcription technology, deployed within Veritone's large scale cloud environment and combined with Veritone's unique, specialized training data sets, enhances Veritone's capabilities for deeper learning and improves overall performance and accuracy of the CMP engines. NTE will now be easily accessible to Veritone's growing client base for use with its ecosystem of millions of hours of audio and video content.
Leveraging Nuance vertical markets expertise: As Veritone expands into various vertical markets, its CMP will become even more robust, benefiting from the additional specialized market expertise that Nuance has developed through decades of experience. As industry leaders in voice and language solutions with expertise in financial services, telecommunications, government, and healthcare, among others, Nuance enhances Veritone's CMP for new markets. Veritone will be able to bring market leading efficiency and accuracy within their vertical market expansion into financial services, legal, law enforcement and security.
Extending CMP capabilities to increase global media footprint: With support for 15 languages and 30 dialects, Nuance's speech recognition is trained to recognize specific industry and regional terms, proper nouns and brand names. Through this collaboration, Veritone and Nuance will achieve an unprecedented and significant improvement in transcription accuracy when applied to global media.
