Government Security News releases Digital Yearbook of 2015 Awards Winners

GSN is pleased to announce that its 2015 Digital Yearbook of Awards Winners has been released to the entire database of the company’s print, digital and newsletter subscribers. The Yearbook covers the results of two awards programs – the annual Airport, Seaport, Border Security Awards and the annual Homeland Security Awards.

The Yearbook was created to invite Awards Winners to share their winning technologies and strategies, as described in their awards entries, with our readers. The invitation was accepted by 47 Winners from the two awards programs. A healthy number of vendors and government officials of other nations also participated in this year’s program, often with winning entries.

Distinguished Judge of this year’s programs, Chuck Brooks, drawing on his many years in Capital Hill and the Department of Homeland Security, provided GSN with a fascinating interview, in which he discussed homeland security priorities, trends and priorities for the homeland security community and future areas that companies and agencies should explore. Be sure to read it on page 8 of the Yearbook.

In his current position as Vice President of Government Solutions for Sutherland Government (SGCI), Mr. Brooks heads Federal and State and Local Government Relations and is responsible for the company’s Marketing portfolio, which includes Media, PR, Digital Outreach, Thought Leadership, Strategic Partnering and Branding for Federal, State and Local markets. He also runs two of the most influential homeland security groups on Linkedin – the “U.S. Department of Homeland Security” and “Homeland Security” that have a combined membership of 50,000.

GSN would like to thank Blue Ridge Network for its generous Sponsorship and the information on its App Guard Enterprise that was among its winning awards entries in 2015. We at GSN find the technological advances from vendors and the ever-more sophisticated programs and strategies of government agencies to be mind-boggling in their excellence. We know you will find them very reassuring in these challenging times.

In addition to being mailed to all GSN readers, the 2015 Yearbook has also been posted on the middle column of the Home Page of the GSN website at www.gsnmagazine.com. Complimentary subscriptions to all GSN publications are also available by clicking on the invitation at the top of the website Home Page which reads: SIGN UP FOR FREE GSN PUBLICATIONS.
