Lunarline wins Federal Transit Administration security consulting contract
Cyber security company, Lunarline, Inc., announced on June 10 that it has been awarded a prime contract with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), a division of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), under which it will provide its Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) support to help ensure that the FTA establishes a highly secure information technology environment.
This contract award represents a critical step forward in meeting FTA's cyber security program goals of managing the risks of information technology operations and protecting sensitive government data, says Lunarline in a news release.
The FTA has chosen Lunarline as a consulting partner to provide the critical technical, analytical and security tool support needed to advance the administration's information technology security program. Lunarline brings its expertise to FTA in both strategic and tactical level cyber security consulting, enterprise integration, and cyber security training approved by the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS).
"Lunarline is committed to helping the FTA secure their critical information," said Lunarline CEO Waylon Krush. "We look forward to applying our outstanding Assessment and Authorization support to ensure the success of this administration's information technology mission."
