Access control goes global
Tab Systems, Inc., of Naklo, Slovenia is gearing up for a worldwide launch of smarti Guardeon, the company’s new biometric unit for access control.
The multi-modal system, which uses facial and voice recognition is set to debut at the 2010 IFSEC Security Industry Awards in England on May 10-12. The awards show will also mark the fifth year in a row that Tab Systems has been listed as a finalist in the best new access control product category.
Among the system’s many user-friendly innovative features, smarti Guardeon is compact in size, energy efficient and cost effective. It can be used to control any type of electronic device including sensors, alarm systems light and scanners in outdoor or indoor environments. Other features include a resistant touch screen as well as a RFID and Mifare reader.
The system can be purchased in over 20 countries and can be translated into 11 different languages including English, German, French, Italian, Russian and Arabic.
