FLIR introduces line of IP thermal security cameras
Portland, OR-based FLIR Systems, Inc., the manufacturer of thermal security cameras, has introduced a line of IP thermal security cameras that it emphasizes are “affordable,” with models available starting at $3,495.
This new line provides additions to FLIR’s F- and PT-series of IP thermal security cameras, which feature 160 × 120 pixel resolution and have three available lenses, ranging from the wide-angle 24° lens to the narrow 12° lens for maximum imaging and integration flexibility.
The new cameras are available as either a fixed-site (thermal only) configuration, or as pan / tilt multi-sensor systems with an integrated daylight camera, the company says.
The new cameras provide integration over open IP network standards, and dual channels of streaming digital video in H.264, MPEG-4, or MJPEG formats, allowing users to mix and match formats to meet various viewing and recording requirements, FLIR adds.
