Qbase/SBD Alliant awarded U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs customer relationship management (CRM) contract
Reston, VA, September 21 - Qbase, LLC, a leading provider of essential IT and data analytics services to federal and commercial clients announced today that, as the performing member of the SBD Alliant Joint Venture, it has been selected by the United States' Department of State to provide critical CRM software and integration services to support the agency's Bureau of Consular Affairs as it modernizes and consolidates its existing operational environment (including US passport and visa processing) under a common technology platform.
"We are extremely proud to be able to support the DoS Consular Affairs Passport program – our first award under the GSA Alliant Small Business vehicle," said Qbase CEO, Steve Baldwin. "The Bureau of Consular Affairs has an important mission, and it's one that we are glad to support."
The U.S. State Department's Bureau of Consular Affairs provides both emergency and non-emergency services to Americans living and working abroad. The bureau is also tasked with facilitating the entry of travelers, ensuring U.S. border security, and fostering economic growth.
Qbase and its GSA Alliant Small Business partners were chosen for this project due to their collective expertise and experience in environments where performance, commitment and dependability matter most.
The Qbase solution integrated multiple Oracle software tools with Siebel CRM software as the core capability to deliver a combination of transactional, analytical, and engagement features to manage the division's customer-facing operations. The award is for one base year and four option years.
