Accuvant and FishNet Security to host free webcast on building confidence in your information security posture
Denver & Overland Park, KS, June 2 – Accuvant and FishNet Security, which recently joined together to create a major cyber security solutions provider, has announced their next Knowledge Share Series webcast, “Building Confidence in Your Information Security Posture,” will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. PDT/12:00 p.m. EDT.
The number of cyber attacks increases each year, becoming more sophisticated and malicious, causing organizations to fight in order to stay ahead of threats. Deciding which technology investments will reduce risks depends on many factors, and success depends on a mature information security model and a method to make effective risk-based decisions.
Lewie Dunsworth, senior vice president of advisory services, and Chris Gray, vice president of enterprise security and risk will share with attendees a proven, proprietary methodology on assessing risk. This model enables CISOs, security managers, and other security professionals to better understand their risk environment and security goals while assisting them to move quickly and efficiently to meet those goals. Attendees will learn about the simple tools available to help them inventory their risk, and how to make effective security spending decisions.
