RSA 2011: F. William Conner, Chairman, President and CEO, Entrust, Inc

As a software company bringing identity-based security to governments, financial institutions and enterprises, Entrust had a banner year in 2010, according to Chairman and CEO Bill Conner, surpassing $100-million in revenues and showing a 27% EBITDA. For the U.S. Government, Entrust secures communications with email encryption and provides the Federal bridge for secure federal communications. Mr. Conner, who co-chaired the DHS public-private committee on cybersecurity, says that cyber attacks have expanded to banks, manufacturing, utilities and other public infrastructure, and he warns against insider threats as well as attacks from nation states. He also describes Entrust’s Public Key and fraud platforms.
