ASIS 2010: Kevin Carpenter, Pelco by Schneider Electric

Kevin Carpenter, Pelco Business Development Executive for Federal Government, State Government and Intelligent Transportation, discusses the DIACAP program (Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process). According to Mr. Carpenter, this process has the complete backing of Schneider Electric, which has funded the creation of an Information Assurance Resource Center, under team leader Danny Graves, at Pelco headquarters in Clovis, CA. The purpose of DIACAP, he explains, is to establish network security at the Department of Defense and in Federal markets through stringent, mandatory information assurance and accreditation requirements.
