Vicon Industries, Inc. (VII: NYSE-MKT) (“Vicon”), designer and manufacturer of video surveillance and access control software, hardware and components, has appointed four new Regional Sales Managers to support its recently launched, state-of-the-art video management and access control solutions. These industry veterans will play an instrumental role in introducing customers within their territories to the simplified, hassle-free experience made possible through Vicon’s Valerus video management software, VAX access control software, and the company’s expansive line of cameras and network hardware.

Josh Bowman | RSM for OH, MI, WV, Western PA and Western NY: Josh began his career in 1992 working in the family Audio/Visual & Electronic business before moving into the IT and Networking industry in the late 1990s. Since then, Josh has focused on System Integrations involving Security, Structured Cabling, Telephony and Wireless, in addition to A/V and Networking. Josh has over 25 years experience in Sales, Operation and Project Management and obtained his PMP credential in 2011.

Steven Vocke | RSM for AZ, NM, UT, CO and El Paso, TX: Steve is a 23-year veteran of the Telecom, Datacomm and Systems Integration industries. Steve is a graduate of University of Toledo, in Ohio, with a B.A. in Business Communications/Management, and also holds Cisco CCDA and Cisco CSE certifications.

Christian Van Horn | RSM for Florida (excluding Pensacola): Christian brings 11 years of security electronics and software experience to Vicon. He comes from Source Security Solutions, where he led sales and product management. Prior to Source, he helped two multi-million dollar companies grow in security alarm, VMS, video surveillance, access control and M2M software platforms. Christian has a sales and technical background that will serve as a huge asset to Vicon.

James Freeman | RSM for ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, and Metro NYC: James is a seasoned sales professional, with 15 years experience handling solutions sales at telecommunications companies like AT&T, Research in Motion and Sony. Recently, while working at Crius Energy, he helped launch a new energy product within Comcast’s Xfinity Home portfolio that is now available in deregulated states across Comcast’s footprint.

Bret McGown, Vicon’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, says of the new hires, “The enthusiasm, professionalism and commitment that these terrific new regional sales managers are already contributing to the Vicon organization will be a key ingredient in the revitalization of the Vicon brand. With the recent launch of our exciting, entirely new product line, including VMS and access control software, there has never been a better time than now for Vicon to benefit from the talents of Josh, Steve, Christian and James.”
