LRAD Corp. has announced that its new LRAD 2000X acoustic hailing system broadcasts highly intelligible voice communication that can be clearly heard and understood over five miles away.

The superior voice intelligibility and clarity of the LRAD 2000X directional audio broadcasts safely determine intent and enlarge perimeters and standoff zones, says the company. The LRAD 2000X provides operators with a new way to communicate over distance by issuing powerful alarm tones to gain attention, followed by live or pre-recorded multi-language warnings, instructions and commands to alter behavior and enhance response capabilities.

The extended frequency range and crystal clarity of the LRAD 2000X ensure every syllable is heard and understood over background noise in most any terrain and environment.
