Data Center Brainstorm 2012

Location

Washington DC USA

Date of Event

Tue, 06/19/2012 - 8:00am - 2:30pm

Event Description

Federal agencies have less than three years to change their data center habits. OMB now says we need to slim from 2,100 to 1,100 data centers by 2015. Are the numbers accurate, are the goals realistic, and importantly, is counting data centers the right way to measure efficiency?

Join MeriTalk's Data Center Exchange for the annual Data Center Brainstorm on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. The event will bring together Federal data centers pros to share best practices, collaborate on challenges in the road ahead, and provide feedback to OMB on progress against the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative. We'll cover audit, chargeback, security, and electric metering – all the key topics on today's data center horizon.
