People: New CEO for Lockheed Martin Systems Integration-Owego

Bethesda, MD-based Lockheed Martin Corp., has appointed Marillyn Hewson president of Lockheed Martin Systems Integration-Owego, based in Owego, NY, effective Sept. 1, 2008. She succeeds Frank Meyer, who will retire in early 2009, following a 39-year career. Lockheed Martin Systems Integration-Owego provides technology products, services and systems integration solutions to defense, civil and commercial customers. Principal capabilities include helicopter systems integration, fixed- and rotary-wing modernization and sustainment, and ground vehicles and distribution technologies. The business employs approximately 4,000 persons at three locations. Hewson currently is an executive vice president of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. in Fort Worth, TX.



Biometric industry veteran Christer Bergman has been appointed as CEO of Austin, TX-based IdentiPHI, the enterprise security solutions and consulting services company. Bergman, a Vienna, VA, resident, has deep roots in beltway politics, according to a company representative, and he will continue to reside in Vienna in order to leverage these relationships for IdentiPHI on specific opportunities such as HSPD-12.



Waltham, MA- based Ounce Labs, the provider of enterprise security source code analysis, has named Gary Jackson chief executive officer. Jackson joins Ounce from Quova, Inc., the Mountain View, CA-based provider of Internet geo-location data, where he served as chief operating officer.
