People: Dean Meyer named Pelco COO
Dean Meyer
Dean Meyer has been named chief operating officer of Pelco, the video security systems manufacturer recently acquired by France’s Schneider Electric combine. He will report to Pelco CEO David McDonald. Meyer was previously president of Texas-based TAC Americas, where he grew the firm’s business five-fold during his seven-year tenure.
The Transportation Security Administration named Brian Delauter as the federal security director for Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport and seven other airports in Georgia and South Carolina.
Steve Simmerman has joined the leadership team at the Orange, CA-based supply chain software vendor Next View Software, with responsibility for sales and marketing.
The National Association of Security Companies (NASCO) has appointed David Buckman, EVP and general counsel, Allied Barton Security Services, to complete the remaining year of a vacant at-large board position.
