Contracts: Siemen’s to install AMAG’s security management system at Anchorage Intl. Airport

Ashburn, VA-based Telos Corp. has won an Air Force indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task order to provide labor and services to the Air Force Defense Message System Program Management Office, 754th Electronic Systems Group’s Directorate of Operations, at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. Under the order, Telos will provide technical and program management support to the Defense Message System (DMS), which was developed to replace the post-World War II-era bulk messaging system that enabled users to ship electronic memos via military message centers. By contrast, the latest DMS iteration is Web-based and deployed enterprise-wide by the Air Force. The contract runs for one base year with two, one-year option periods, and is valued at more than $6.3 million if all options are exercised.
The Castle Hills, TX police department has purchased an undisclosed number of Stinger S-200 electronic immobilization devices from Tampa, FL-based Stinger Systems, Inc., a provider of electro-stun technologies. Castle Hills is located in the greater San Antonio area.
