National Security Technologies, LLC, of Las Vegas, NV, the commercial firm that runs the Department of Energy’s Remote Sensing Laboratory at the 1,350-square mile Nevada Test Site north of Las Vegas, wants to find a subcontractor to support its work with radiation detectors at the remote site. The subcontractor will be asked to supply a scientist, data programmer and technicians to certify the safety and reliability of Advanced Spectroscopic Portal systems, and to operate various handheld, mobile and backpack radiation detectors and radiation pagers, on behalf of the DHS Domestic Nuclear Detection Office.
