TSA plans pilot program to evaluate cargo screening technologies

The Transportation Security Administration plans to launch a pilot program at 18 major U.S. airports and nearby cargo consolidation facilities to evaluate different procedures for screening cargo with X-ray and explosive detection equipment before that cargo is put on pallets and loaded onto passenger aircraft.

The U.S. Secret Service requires two Fitness Coordinator Certification courses and an Online Fitness Coordination Certification site, as part of the ongoing training programs it offers through the Physical Training Program developed and implemented by the agency’s James J. Rowley Training Center. The Physical Training Program is responsible for the aerobic/anaerobic conditioning and functional strength training of all new Special Agent and Uniformed Division officers.
