Biz Opps: DHS seeks anti-IED devices and technologies

The Department of Homeland Security’s science and technology directorate is seeking interested parties to help develop effective methods, devices and technologies to prevent and mitigate terrorist and criminal deployment of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). The agency wants sources to help develop prototype solutions to immobilize a potential suicide bomber and control the space occupied by that bomber. Sources with relevant approaches and complete concept ideas will be encouraged to proceed with DHS S&T through the Long Range BAA 08-01. Contact , contracting officer, at 202-254-6677. National Academy might "second-guess" the DNDO
