FLETC

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, is exploring the potential to provide law enforcement training to state and local law enforcement agencies via a secure Distance Learning Portal (DLP). The DLP being sought would be hosted at a location external to FLETC. Contract arrangements call for the DLP server to provide all IT support and student administration. Management functions of the DLP are also expected to be performed by contract personnel. FLETC may contribute occasional supplemental training products to the site for dissemination, such as Webcasts, or SCORM 2004-compliant e-learning products. The United States District Court for the District of New Mexico issued a request for proposal for the design, replacement and upgrading of equipment for three existing evidence presentation systems, located in Brazos, Cimarron and Santa Fe. The project calls for the upgrade of each current operational evidence presentation system, including as needed replacement of switches, converters, distribution amps, and other equipment and cables located in the existing equipment rack. All the new equipment is expected to be professional grade and rated for continuous duty. Contact: , Procurement & Facilities Administration, U.S. District Court, at 505-348-2063.
