Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Federal Protective Service (FPS) has a requirement for annual X-ray and magnetometer maintenance services at federally owned and leased facilities throughout the New England Region (the states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut). As an integral component of the FPS security effort, the contractor shall provide preventative maintenance to all existing X-ray machines and magnetometers, as well as repairs to deficient machines on an as-needed basis. Should there be a terrorist bio-chem attack, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Bureau of Industry and Security wants its workers to be prepared. The agency now has a requirement for 284 escape hoods that would be used for respiratory protection in the event of a chemical or biological agent exposure. The U.S. Air Force needs uniformed security escort services with vehicle(s) to escort sensitive freight and hazardous freight. The security escorts shall protect cargo from unauthorized access, loss, theft, espionage, sabotage or any other type of criminal/terrorist activities.
