TSA to test screening systems in Arlington County, VA

TSA wants to find a small business that can design and build an operational facility in Arlington County, VA, in which it can test new passenger and baggage screening systems.

The contract would include construction of the testing facility and adjacent offices, operations and maintenance of the screening systems for a minimum of one year and systems integration services to accommodate changes to the systems for at least one year, according to a presolicitation notice posted by TSA on December 21.

Responses were due to TSA by January 3. TSA is planning an industry day site visit to the intended location on January 7, beginning at 10 am. Inquiries can be directed to , contract specialist, at 571-227-3854.
