Panasonic WJ-ND400

Secaucus, NJ-based Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company, has introduced the i-Pro WJ-ND400 network video recorder, engineered for IP-camera-based video surveillance systems. The i-Pro WJ-ND400 can record up to 64 network cameras simultaneously, with multi-format recording in MPEG-4 and JPEG. It also offers 2x and 4x digital zoom on live or recorded video, and also provides Panasonic camera control for pan/tilt, zoom, focus, brightness, preset position and auto mode. Up to nine 1TB hot-plug hard disk drives can be installed for maximum on-board storage capabilities, while up to 16 clients can monitor and control the WJ-ND400 simultaneously.

White Plains, NY-based ITT Corp. is offering PuriFile v3.2, an advanced version of its PuriFile deep document inspection software. PuriFile finds hidden information in Microsoft Office files and then, using an integrated assistant plug-in, helps cleanse the document. PuriFile v3.2 performs a recursive analysis of the contents of both .zip and .tar files. While still performing deep content inspection for Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF formats, PuriFile also will conduct so-called "dirty word" checking, regardless of file type. In addition to numerous new inspection tests, this release also supports review of .msg formats, as created by saving messages and attachments from Microsoft Outlook.

Wideband Corp., of Gallatin, MO, has introduced GoldKey, a fingertip-sized device that encrypts hard drives, e-mail attachments, backups and flash drives, using a 256-bit advance encryption standard. A GoldKey can run stand-alone, or can be managed by a Master Key. GoldKey also allows Master and Grand Master keys to unlock their registered users’ data without an additional appliance. GoldKey supports both Windows and Mac OS X.
