Zistos Corp., of Holbrook, NY, now offers its Portable Network Surveillance Camera (PNSC), which comes in a self-contained case that includes a rechargeable battery, video pole camera with illuminator and a video server. It transmits on a wireless network. It can tied into existing structured networks or be used as a stand-alone camera. The rechargeable battery can operate the system for up to 12 hours. The PNSC can generate alarm events based on changes in video image content. Video from alarms can be recorded locally to flash media and monitored remotely over a network. The PNSC is available with night vision cameras, with IR illumination.

CHEMICAL DETECTOR - Avir Sensors, of Charlottesville, VA, unveiled its ChemSight multi-chemical detector, a continuously operating, open-path detector that uses infrared spectroscopy. It reliably monitors long lines of sight and detects and identifies multiple chemicals and interferants within seconds. ChemSight recognizes most Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs), Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs) and Chemical Warfare Agents (CWAs), and has broad application in the homeland security, industrial and military markets. Site Protector software incorporated into ChemSight provides real-time, stand-alone views of potential threats and can integrate with standard security systems and building management software.

SHREDDER – The new Model 1201PF shredder from Security Engineered Machinery (SEM), of Westboro, MA, economically and conveniently shreds high volumes of paper. Its automatic sheet feeder gives it the capacity of much larger machines, accepting stacks of up to 1,000 sheets at a time. A bypass slot allows single sheets to be fed manually without interrupting the automatic feeder.

SECURITY CARDS - MXI Security, of Santa Ana, CA, unveiled Access Enterprise 3.0 with one-click identity credentials provisioning and digital certificates, making it easier for enterprises to implement security and authentication for portable data across entire organizations.
