New Products: Intelagard backpack boosts fire, hazmat attack ability

The Macaw backpack manufactured by Intelagard, of Broomfield, CO, offers a self-contained portable system to handle fire, hazmat and decontamination tasks. The backpack canister can hold up to five gallons of liquid, and can project foam up to 35 feet powered by a wide range of air cylinders (7.25 inches or less). Users can choose from five attack nozzles and four foaming agents. Rapid response hoses come in seven pre-set sizes as well as customized flat tray lengths.




ID CARD PRINTERS – Datacard Group, of Minnetonka, MN, launched its SO75 Plus and CP80 Plus card printers which can personalize highly secure, durable cards and address complex security issues associated with distributed issuance. Key security features include ultraviolet fluorescent printing, theft deterrent software and hardware and the ability to apply the same or different security laminates to both sides of the card.




VISUAL DATA – The Sentinel Visualizer developed by FMS, of Tyson’s Corner, VA, offers advanced data visualization tools originally developed for the intelligence community, providing users with the tools to see and analyze complex relationships that exist within data, incorporating 2D and 3D graphic models.




C-TPAT COMPLIANCE – The Supply Chain Security Services division of First Advantage Corp., of St. Petersburg, FL, has unveiled Supplier Compliance Manager, a new Web-based software tool streamlining the collection and analysis of information required under the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.




OPTICAL ENCRYPTION – NuCrypt, of Evanston, IL, has developed an ultra-high security optical encryption technology, AlphaEta, which uses the inherent noise in light to enhance state-of-the-art encryption technology while remaining compatible with conventional optical infrastructure.
