PartTec names comms/admin vice president
Neutron radiation detection technology provider PartTec, Ltd., announced Nichole Hoffmann has joined the company as vice president of communications and administration.
Hoffmann brings over twenty years of marketing and business experience, according to the company. Prior to joining PartTec, Hoffmann was part of the start-up team at Interactive Intelligence from 1996 – 2010, it said.
Her experience as senior director of marketing helped grow the Indianapolis-based software company into a global, publically-traded company, said Partec.
Hoffmann holds a B.A. from Indiana University and is an adjunct professor at The Gayle and Bill Cook Center for Entrepreneurship at Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington, as an instructor of Entrepreneurial Marketing.
Hoffmann will building a marketing team to help PartTec further its market reach as a global supplier of radiation detection devices, said the company.

PartTec, founded in 2002, is a leader in neutron detection technology - specializing in design, development, and manufacture of non-Helium-3 neutron detectors for laboratories, as well as Helium-3 replacement technologies for detector manufacturers and their customers. The company said its user base includes the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, and other radiation detector manufacturers.
