Knowledge Link Inc., a provider of information technology services for federal customers, announced on Jan. 9 the appointment of a new CEO, Daniel Gordon, who will be responsible for the company’s strategic planning, corporate-level leadership, management and corporate positioning.
Knowledge Link’s current CEO and president, Randall Stefano, will assume the role of president and serve as an active member of the board of directors.
“Adding Dan to the executive team will enable us to take Knowledge Link to the next level of corporate development,” Stefano said. “I have known Dan for more than 20 years, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with him again. He has extraordinary vision and energy, as well as the strategic leadership experience to accelerate Knowledge Link’s growth.”
Gordon has a demonstrated track record of driving rapid organizational growth and brings considerable industry knowledge to Knowledge Link. He has nearly 30 years of experience in systems integration, software development, imagery exploitation and visualization solutions, says a news release issued by Knowledge Link.
Most recently, Gordon served as president and member of the board of directors for Ultra Electronics, ProLogic, Inc. Before its 2008 acquisition, he was president, chief operating officer and member of the board of directors of ProLogic, Inc., where the company grew from 45 to 300 employees.
Prior to his tenure at ProLogic, Gordon held key leadership and management positions, including president, COO, and board member at Autometric, Inc., which is now part of The Boeing Company. Under his leadership during the 1990s, the company experienced rapid growth of more than 500 percent, ending the decade with more than 600 employees.
“Knowledge Link has an uncompromised commitment to quality and client satisfaction,” said Donna Alligood, chairman and founder of Knowledge Link. “We are confident that Dan’s extensive leadership experience and industry knowledge, combined with Randy’s operations-focused leadership, will allow us to better serve our clients’ goals while growing our business exponentially.”
