Camden introduces new illuminated push/exit switch

Camden Door Controls have made their popular CM-30 Series illuminated pushbuttons even better with the introduction of new ‘Universal’ models. New CM-30U and CM-30C ‘Universal’ switches lead the market with the largest selection of color insert labels, agency approvals and manufacturers’ warranty, says a company press release.

The CM-30U is packaged complete with 12 English and Spanish insert labels (green, red and blue). The CM-30C offers 14 English and French insert labels. These labels are easily field installed and allow the switch to be customized to meet the requirements of any project, including use as a NFPA compliant ‘request to exit’ switch in access control applications or in compliance with ADA for use with automatic door operators.

All CM-30 pushbuttons, including the new CM-30U and CM-30C ‘Universal’ switch models, are UL294 (standard for access control systems) compliant. In addition, the switches are UL61058-1 compliant (standard for electrical safety) and utilize UL listed switch components.

The high quality of CM-30 Series push/exit switches allow Camden to offer a full three-year replacement warranty, the release notes.
