Keri Systems, Inc. has released its V-Track Vehicle ID System, an RFID product designed to automatically identify vehicles for such applications as gated community access control, parking lot access and fleet management.
LRT-10 Transponders are placed in the vehicle's windshield and can be activated at distances up to 30 feet by the EX-10 Exciter antenna and read by the RXR-10 receiver from up to 100 feet away, allowing for simple and flexible installation that in most cases does not require trenching.
Multiple lanes can be accommodated by adding an extra Exciter to the system. The transponder's battery should last several years under normal usage and is easily replaceable.
The system is available in either Keri MS reader output for PXL-500P controller compatibility, or Wiegand output for compatibility with virtually every commercially available access control system.
Keri Systems is a provider of integrated card access control, telephone entry, video badging systems and digital video recording. Located in San Jose, CA, the company continues to develop its controller and proximity technology by offering a suite of products and services for customers requiring more than just basic access control hardware and software.
