Now that TSA’s Secure Flight program is literally taking off, and the agency’s other transportation threat assessment and credentialing programs are also mushrooming, TSA wants to find a software company that can provide it with the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) administrative software it needs to manage seating, assets, personnel and reporting at its expanding facility in Annapolis Junction, MD.
“The Government has a requirement for the contractor to provide services that will enable the installation and configuration of the software on an existing TSA network,” says a sources sought notice published by TSA on June 21.
TSA seeks a software tool that is currently available in the marketplace.
“The Secure Flight Administration team has a need for software to help manage the onboarding and offboarding of government and contractor staff, asset management of [government furnished] equipment such as phones and computers, and manage the facility management issues of seating and space planning,” says the notice.
Capability statements of no more than five pages must be submitted by June 28 to Renee Grace, the TSA contracting officer, at renee.grace@dhs.gov or 571-227-1411.
