VideoIQ names VP of marketing

Bedford, MA-based VideoIQ has named Mark Gally as its new vice president of marketing.

In this role, Gally will drive both the marketing strategy and the overall market development for VideoIQ.

Gally has held senior positions at Siebel Systems, MicroStrategy and most recently Merced Systems, VideoIQ reports.

The company characterizes its iCVR cameras and encoders as including onboard adaptive analytics, zero bandwidth recording and an advanced video management system (VMS).

The VMS provides proactive protection, accelerated investigation and reduced infrastructure compared to conventional systems, according to the company. Company investors include Atlas Venture, Matrix Partners and Tenaya Capital.
