Former Gartner analyst joins Ipswitch

Lexington, MA-based Ipswitch, Inc., a developer of secure and managed file transfer solutions, reports that L. Frank Kenney has joined the company as vice president of global strategy.  

Kenney brings nearly 20 years of technology experience in managed file transfer, service-oriented architecture (SOA) governance, application integration, business process management and cloud computing, according to Ipswitch.

In his new post, he will define the company’s vision and strategy, Ipswitch said.

Prior to joining Ipswitch, Kenney was a research director at Gartner, Inc., where he initiated and drove the Magic Quadrants on managed file transfer and SOA governance technologies. Before joining Gartner, Frank was director of creative services and content distribution at the Executive Business Group.
