The Transportation Security Administration has announced its intent to acquire, “using other than full and open competition,” accounting services from to AOC Solutions, of Chantilly, VA.
The firm will provide “necessary accounting, budgetary, general ledger and sub-ledgers, systems/subsystems review, analysis, and remediation support necessary to ensure that TSA's Treasury fund accounts are materially accurate,” for a two month period (March 1, 2010 - April 30, 2010), with an additional month option period, while TSA “recompetes” the contract.
TSA also notes that, despite its intention to make the award to AOC, “interested persons” may submit proposals for 15 days after TSA’s original solicitation, number HSTS01-10-R-FIN015, on February 2.
