CNL and Pelco form technology partnership
![]() |
CNL, a developer of physical security information management (PSIM) software, and Pelco, Inc. by Schneider Electric, a designer and developer of next-generation video and security systems, have formed a technology partnership.
Specifically, CNL is joining the Pelco Partner First program.
CNL notes that it recently integrated several key Pelco video products into its PSIM platform, IPSecurityCenter. Under this partnership, CNL will be integrating with other Pelco products.
CNL also notes that the two companies will allow further sharing of SDKs [i.e., software development kits], DDKs [i.e., driver development kits] and APIs [i.e., applications programming interfaces], creating greater integration possibilities between them.
CNL also observes that the two companies have a shared view of distributed intelligence for physical security, a move away from proprietary technology, which has long been a limiting factor in truly collaborative physical security operations.
